My Bolivian Journey
¡Feliz Navidad!
Dear Friends and Family,
Philippians 1:3-5 “I thank my God every time I remember you, in all my prayers for all of you I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now,” I am so excited to share with you that I have (as of December 18th) 65% of my support raised! The amount that I have left to raise is $7,750.
As the beginning of my year in Bolivia is getting closer I am growing in excitement! However, I would also greatly appreciate prayers as I am entering a very new and unfamiliar world! I want to be consumed with passion for sharing the gospel of Christ with the people that I come in contact with. Knowing my human nature, I anticipate my first instinct in a new place will be to want people to like me and reach out to me. I realize that is not quite the selfless approach that is exemplified in Scripture!!! If you could pray for me that I would become less and that Christ would become more. John 3:30 “He must increase; I must decrease.”
In whatever situation that I find myself I want to be found living a life worthy of the gospel, as Paul commissioned the Philippians: Philippians 1:27 “Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in the one Spirit, striving together as one for the faith of the gospel,” Thank you for your continued prayers!
